We wanted something different: a place that feels like the front porch, not a shouting match.

Our Story
Hello, and welcome. We’re Bill and Marilyn Gould, and we’re very glad you’re here.
Like many of you, we reached a stage of life where the world felt louder, faster, and less forgiving, especially online. Helpful information was often buried under arguments, negativity, or outright scams.
We noticed something else too: when seniors do try to engage online, they’re often treated as invisible, outdated, or inconvenient.
So we decided to create something different. Canadian Senior Moment began as a simple idea: a Canadian space for seniors that is useful, warm, and free from trolls and noise.
What We Believe
We believe that aging does not mean getting pushed aside.
We believe seniors deserve:
- Clear, practical information, not hype
- Respect, not condescension
- Calm spaces, not constant conflict
We also believe that experience matters. Your stories matter. And you shouldn’t have to shout to be heard.
