Good morning,
In our working years, the morning cup of coffee (or tea!) was often purely functional. It was fuel. We poured it into travel mugs, drank it in traffic, or gulped it down between meetings.
Now, we have the luxury of time, yet sometimes we forget to use it.
Today, we want to challenge you to truly “smell the coffee.” When you pour your morning cup, don’t just drink it while scrolling through the news on your tablet or worrying about the snowy driveway. Sit down. Hold the warm mug in both hands. Inhale the aroma.
That warmth seeping into your palms? That is the feeling of safety and comfort. That first sip? That is the taste of a new day.
When we rush through the simple rituals, we rush through life. Let’s make this Tuesday about savouring the start, not just rushing to the finish.
Reflect: What is the one morning ritual you refuse to rush?
Warmly,
Bill & Marilyn
